Welcome! I am Olga Gornostaeva, and I am the founder of OGCrafts, a passionate craftswoman and DIY trainer.
I have always loved doing things with my own hands. While working as a programmer (software engineer) for ten years, I also tried different kinds of crafts, painting, design, and photography.
In 2015, I made my first paper flower. The process excited me so that it led to a new stage in my professional life – I became an entrepreneur in the field of paper art. In the last five years, I have created more than 10 video courses and successfully sold them to the crafters from 52 countries. Furthermore, my Instagram account has become the most popular paper flower account in the world!
What I love most about my work is creating new designs and sharing them with engaged paper creators like me. My greatest reward is your enthusiastic feedback, which helps me move forward.
Creativity is the most amazing thing one could imagine. It’s also infectious – when you are happy yourself, you want to make the whole world happy. That’s why I decided to make a website that gives access to dozens of DIY projects for a small subscription fee. I want as many people as possible to find joy in being creative.

fUn facts about me
- I’m a mother of two daughters of 1 and 5 years old, and I’m sure that being a mum is the best thing ever!
- I’m a big fan of snowboarding, which I’ve been regularly practicing for 15 years.
- I love to travel, and I prefer exploring exotic countries, nature, and local cultures to just resting on the beach. But now I mostly spend the holidays having fun with my family in children’s hotels 🙂
- I can not remain indifferent to stray animals. I’ve picked up on the street and found a new home for 8 cats and a dog.
- I’ve made this website by myself (without involving software developers). It took me almost 3 months.
