These giant garden roses are one of my favorite wall flowers. They look realistic and elegant, yet they are easy to make. You can use them to decorate your home interior (they look particularly good in girl’s nurseries). Giant garden roses are also perfect for party and wedding decoration. Your guests will be delighted to take pictures in front of your gorgeous paper flowers backdrop!

In this arrangement, we have combined garden roses of various sizes with hydrangeas and eucalyptus leaves. But you can also create an endless number of your own unique flower arrangements by combining garden roses with other wall flowers and leaves (find them in SVG templates) and by using paper of various colors.

To hang flowers on the wall, use 3M Command decorating clips (my recommendation), double-sided tape (mounting tape), or glue. Glue is the best choice if you are okay with ruining your wall covering and need flowers to stay attached to the wall for a long time. For hydrangea and leaves, it is handy to use reusable adhesive putty.

Wall garden roses are easy and fast to make, even for beginners. Our step-by-step video tutorial below shows assembling a 23-cm / 9-inch diameter flower, but you can use the same principle to make flowers of any size. Below you can download templates for 18 cm / 7 inch, 23 cm / 9 inch and 30 cm / 12 inch flowers. Use a cutting machine or print the templates and cut them manually. You can also make flowers of any other size. To do that, change the settings in your cutting machine or printer.

    • Hi Kathleen,
I buy paper in our local Russian stores. It is paper of European and Korean manufacturers. It usually has size about 25″ x 38″ and 120-150 gsm weight (e.g. Colorplan).
If you live in USA check:

For large flowers you can use thicker paper about 170 gsm
