DIY Paper Flowers: Giant Hydrangea
Video Tutorial & Templates
These giant paper hydrangeas are easy to make, and they look so spectacular!
Combine them with our wall flowers and leaves to create your unique flower arrangements for decorating interior walls or party decoration. In this arrangement, we have combined hydrangeas with various size garden roses and eucalyptus leaves. To hang them on a wall, use reusable adhesive putty or double-sided tape (mounting tape).
You can also put a bunch of hydrangeas in a vase to decorate your table. Or make a wreath with them. The only limit is your imagination!
Giant hydrangea is easy and fast to make, even for beginners. You can download templates for 5-cm / 2-inch diameter flowers below. Use a cutting machine or print the templates and cut them manually. You can also make flowers of any other size. To do that, change the settings in your cutting machine or printer.
The step-by-step video tutorial below shows how to make a bunch of hydrangeas using a wire. Applying the same principle to other flowers from our SVG templates collection (e.g. potentilla flowers), you can make bunches of them as well.

When you are ready to make your giant hydrangea, prepare the tools and materials (see the list below). Also, download the templates (you can buy them in our shop) and use a cutting machine or print the templates and cut them manually. Now you are ready – watch the video tutorial and start creating!
